Terms and Conditions Cars Rental
1) QUALIFICATION:
Drivers minimum age 22 years old
2) DRIVER’S LICENSE:
We accept original driver’s licenses from EU member countries or international driving licenses. Digital versions or photographs do not replace driver’s license, therefore they are not accepted. A valid driver license held for at least one year in required.
3) DELIVERY – COLLECTION:
In town, airport, port, Marina Gouvia and Spiros Rental Company station between 9.00-21.00. Night deliveries/collection 30,00€ each.
4) TRAFFIC FINES:
Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during rental period are bone solely by the renter.
5) Fuel Policy:
Fuel consumption is payable by the renter. Refunds are not given.
6) EXTRA EQUIPMENT:
Baby seat, booster seats or Dog car seat cover without extra charge (upon request)
7) TAXES:
All rates are subject to V.A.T. 24%
8) AVAILABILITY:
Car models are according to original planning Delivery problems however, may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases.
9) ACROSS THE BORDER RENTALS:
Customers are not allowed to drive the car out of Corfu island. Ferrying the car is strictly prohibited
Vehicle must not be used:
- To carry persons or property for hire;
- To propel or to tow any vehicle, trailer or other object.
- In race, test or contest of following a rally.
- For subleasing by renter to any third party;
- While renter or any other authorized driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol, hallucinatory drugs, barbiturates, or any other sub- stance impairing his consciousness or ability to react.
- In contravention of any customs, traffic or other regulations.
- By any person than Renter unless such person has been previously designated and authorized by Spiros Rental Company in the space pro- vided on the front page of this agreement.
- To transfer or carry heavy luggage or objects, inflammable materials, staining or badly smelling goods, narcotics etc;
10) ACCIDENTS:
In case of an accident or any other incident (fire, theft etc.), renter is responsible within 24 hours to follow the insurance procedures as set out below:
- Call the Police.
- Obtain names and addresses of eye witnesses.
- Do not acknowledge third party claims.
- Contact Spiros Rental Company immediately by phone or other means.
- Obtain all relevant information from the third party or parties.
- Complete and sign an accident report.
- Send any other document or information relative to the accident to Spiros Rental Company
11) JURISDICTION:
Any and all disputes which may arise between Lesson and Renter will be settled before the competent courts of Corfu in Greece. In case of difference between the contracted parties, the Greek courts only will have jurisdiction.
12) CANCELLATION POLICY:
Free cancellation for up to 7 days before. The refund in case of free cancellation does not include the bank’s commission fee.
13) MODIFICATION OF THE RESERVATION

If my flight will be delayed for a few hours will there be penalties?
At the airport, our staff will be waiting for you at the arrivals section, with your name clearly on display. We will check flight times and make allowances for customers on delayed flights. In case of a delay we will regularly check the new arrival time to insure our staff is there to meet you.

Might be extra charges. Charges may apply if your arrival time exceeds the buisness’s opening hours.
Do you provide insurance?
All vehicles are insured against liability to third parties for death or injury or property damage (with excess). Our free basic insurance covers you for CDW/third party and personal accident this comes with an excess of 300euros for small/city cars and 400 euros for larger/ family size cars. In case you don’t have a credit card for security deposit, you can give it also in cash
Terms and Conditions Scooter Rental
1) QUALIFICATION:
- Drivers minimum age : 18 years old for 50cc-80cc
- 21 years old for 125cc -200cc or Atvs
Drivers must have experience in driving scooter. In case that our company representative determines that the driver is not able to drive safely, he may refuse to provide the vehicle.
2) DRIVER’S LICENSE:

- For renting 50cc -80cc required driving licenses category AM or A1 or A2 or A
- For renting 125cc required driving licenses category A1 or A2 or A
- For renting ATVs required driving licenses category B
